Single Thread Surface Muti-phase Transmission Pump, a kind of volumetric pump, is mainly comprised of a rotor and a stator. Rotor is a screwed pipe with long stroke, big pitch, and small thread ID. And the stator is actually a kind of double thread elastic bushing. The rotor matches with stator to form series of sealed cavities. When rotor rotates inside the stator, sealed cavities progress from the suction to the discharge end of the pump, delivering medium continuously to the discharge end from cavity to cavity. The intake and discharge cavities serve as valves due to complete separation. Intake capacity can reach about 85 meters without turbulence and pulsation. The displacement has direct proportion to revolutionary speed , which results in automatic displacement adjustment .It is especially suitable to to transmit high viscous, high sand bearing fluid.
Applicable for: single or muti-medium transmission; Widely used in chemistry, petroleum, metallurgy, architecture and environmental engineering.
Advantages in contrast with Rod Pumps:
- Energy saving. More viscous oil means less energy consumption.
- No gas lock and shows emulsion breaking function.
- Uniform oil extraction without disturbance to reservoir.
- No rod string leads to cost elimination from rod wear and thread off and tubing of smaller size is applicable.
- Ideally suited for deviated wells, directional wells and horizontal wells.
- Require very little surface space. No wellhead oil leak, no noise and simple routine maintenance.
- Increased operation depths and volumes.
- Assembly below the pump can offer heat to the pump.
Advantages when compared with Electric Submersible Pump(ESP):
- Significant decrease in energy consumption when conditions such as motor, lifting capacity and displacement are the same as ESP.
- ESP has a revolution of 2900rpm while ESPCP normally provides for revolution of 139~~365 rpm.
- Same seal section, motor oil, electric power cable as ESP.
- High system efficiency, especially for high viscous oil wells.
- Smaller emulsification of fluid as opposed to the sharp emulsification of ESP.
- Wax contained in the fluid will not easily settled in pump barrel.
- Maintain normal performance in the condition of free gas content lower than 40%.
